Day 1: Leave Jhb on Egyptair at 21h45 for Cairo.
Day 2: Arrive Cairo 05h45. From Cairo airport proceed to the Citadel of Salahuddin Ayyubbi and the beautiful Muhammed Ali Pasha Mosque. Guided tour of mosque. Breathtakingly panoramic view of Cairo. Check into hotel. Short afternoon nap. Evening shopping at the famous Khan El Khalili Bazaar. Return to hotel for late buffet supper.
Day 3: Visit Pyramids, Sphinx. From Cairo go under Suez Canal to Sinai. Travel the route of Moosa (AS) along Red Sea. Late evening reach the bustling international resort of Sharm Al Shaikh. Check into hotel. Supper.
Day 4: Free day of fun : quad-biking, para-sailing, scuba-diving, swimming, going underwater in a ’submarine’, shopping… or just chilling out in a pavement coffee shop watching the world going by. (Note: this is arranged by you directly with the guides and you also pay them for whatever activities that you choose).
Day 5: After breakfast depart by coach to Nuwaiba in the Gulf of Aqaba. Travel on board a luxury ferry to Aqaba. Proceed to Petra. Check into hotel. Supper.
Day 6: Enter Petra city....one of the ancient wonders of the world and Jordan's leading tourist destination: an ancient city that is reached via a deep, winding canyon. Spend approx. 3 hours exploring this fascinating site. Cave of the Sleepers (mentioned in the Quran), in Amman. Return late afternoon to hotel in Amman. Supper. Lecture on Palestine by Abie Dawjee.
Day 7: Leave at 7:30 for the border to enter Palestine. Check into Golden Walls (ex Pilgrims Hotel) in Jerusalem. Visit Al Aqsa Musjid! Supper.
Day 8: Tour Palestine. Visit Bethlehem, Hebron and other important towns (of course this depends on whether the security situation allows for easy movement). Supper.
Day 9: Leave for border. Proceed to Jordan. Check-in at hotel in Amman. Supper.
Day 10: Proceed to Damascus, Syria. Arrive Damascus late afternoon. Check into Al Ewan Hotel. Walking tour to the majestic Ommayyid Masjid. Comprehensive lecture about this fascinating site (about the head of Yahya A.S. housed there and Eesa A.S. return via the minaret of this musjid, etc).Visit to the burial site of Salahuddin Ayubbi. Free time to shop for amazing bargains at the massive Hamadia Souk. Late supper.
Day 11: Visit the grave of Hazrat Bilal (R.A.). Shopping. More shopping. Late supper.
Day 12: After breakfast leave for Beirut. Arrive Beirut late afternoon.
Day 13: Visit Ceders and Byblos.
Day 14: Tour of the amazing Jeita Grotto (like Cango Caves) and Harissa (like top of Table Mountain). Leave for Beirut Airport to travel to Cairo. Depart Cairo for Johannebsurg at 23h45.
Day 15: Arrive in Johannesburg at 8.00am

Important notes:
1. Entry at border points
If entry is denied into any country at the border then an alternative programme will be provided.
2. Price includes:
Airfare, Accommodation in good hotels (rooms with en-suite), 2 persons per room
Daily full breakfast and full dinner.
All transfer & sightseeing tours as mentioned above with local guides & entrance fees where applicable.
Syrian, Egyptian, Jordanian, Lebanese visas.
3. Price does not include:
Telephone calls, laundry, all drinks during meals and other personal expenses.
Exit/Entry Taxes (Per Person):
Exit: Egypt $15/ Jordan $18×2 (into Palestine & into Syria)/ Israel $ 46/ Syria $11.
Entry: Lebanon $18. All these charges will be collected from passengers at the borders.
Entry: Petra $50.
Lunch: stops will be made for passengers to purchase snacks.
4. Single supplement: If you wish to have a room for yourself only, you will have to pay a single supplement of R 4,000.
5. Sharing: If you are travelling alone & do not want to pay the single supplement, we will try to match you up to share a room with someone of your age group. Note that generally we are successful in finding suitable partners. However, if we cannot do this you will be matched with any other single person of any age group. If no other person is found to share a room with you, you will have to pay the single supplement.

Very important! If the passenger’s name is not shown clearly on the deposit slip the payment will be impossible to trace and will not be recorded.
Cash deposits - if you deposit cash into our account please add R200 per person. This is the bank’s cash deposit fee.
Unfortunately payments CANNOT be made with credit cards, even for the tickets, as the full package has been paid for in Jordan. If you feel the necessity to take out insurance you will have to do this separately with any travel agent.
7. Passports
We require your passport to obtain visas. Send 2 passport-size photos (colour or black and white)
Outside Durban:
If you are some distance away, go to any Post Office and ask them for Speed Services overnight mail (about R50). You will be given a large plastic envelope.
Address the envelope to:

Hand the envelope back to the Post Office counter. You will be given a tracking number which ensures that your document is not lost.

Please ensure that your passport does not expire within 6 months from the date on which you are travelling. Israel’s regulations and Lebanese authorities do not permit a person with a temporary passport to enter.
However, for the past 3 years all temporary passport holders were allowed in.
8. Luggage
Maximum weight allowed 20 kg and 7 kg hand luggage.
9. Vaccinations
Not required by any of the countries we visit
10. Currency
Do NOT take travellers cheques. Carry only cash dollars in small denominations ($5, $10, $20 -Maximum $50 notes)
11. Cancellations
Any cancellation made less than 14 days before departure will be subject to a 50% penalty. Any cancellation made less than 7 days before departure will be subject to a 75% penalty.
